Dermaceutic Yellow Cream

Dermaceutic Yellow Cream is a dark spot toning cream that helps to reduce dark marks and correct uneven skin tone while promoting skin radiance. It is an excellent spot treatment to be used in concentrated areas. Suitable for all skin types with superficial dark mark concerns. Not suitable for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin.

Key ingredients include Kojic Acid which inhibits the production of melanin thereby reducing the risk of pigmentation. Arbutin inhibits the cell’s production of melanin (melanogenesis) by blocking the action of tyrosinase. Licorice is a proven pigment correcting agent due to its flavonoid-rich composition. it also has soothing properties. Morus Alba is a species of fruit tree that limits the production of melanin by inhibiting the action of the tyrosinase. It is also an antioxidant. Glycolic Acid speeds up exfoliation and promotes cell renewal. Salicylic Acid causes a keratolytic action that reduces intercorneocyte cohesion, un-glueing the bonds that hold the dead skin cells together. Paraben-free. Fragrance-free

Dr Webster’s Recommendation: Dermaceutic Yellow Cream contains anti-inflammatory, anti-pigmentary, and exfoliating ingredients – it is a unique and dynamic combination of ingredients that targets pigmentary changes but also pimples, lowering the inflammation in the follicle and clearing it. The pigment-controlling ingredients then target the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation caused by the breakout due to the inflammation. Darker skin types are most at risk of PIH and I would recommend this product for them.
