Obagi Sun Shield Matte Broad Spectrum SPF 50 is your first line of defence against the harmful effects of sun exposure. This elegant sunscreen provides broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection and with its sheer finish, it is suited to all skin types but especially those with an oily, acne-prone or combination skin due to its mattifying effects. Also suitable for Skin Types IV-VI as it does not leave a grey film on the skin after application.

Key ingredients include Octinoxate to protect against UVB and Zinc Oxide to protect against UVA. Having both a physical and chemical filter offers optimum sun protection. Dr Webster’s Recommendation: I would recommend this popular broad-spectrum sunscreen with a mixture of physical and chemical filters for more oily and combination skins, as those with dry skins may not find it hydrating enough. The CLENZIderm range for acne-prone skin does not contain a sunscreen so this is a good choice to include when using that range.
