Our Story
Dermastore® is an online skincare boutique founded by Dr Ian Webster and Greg Webster in early 2015.
Dermastore® offers some of the best and most effective Dermatologist-endorsed cosmeceuticals in the world, expertly curated by our Dermatologist and experienced product team.
A private family-owned company, Dermastore’s measurement of success is the well-being and satisfaction of our customers – the bedrock upon which our brand has been built.

Our Dermatologist
A visionary and innovator, Dr Webster underwent post-graduate training in laser surgery at Harvard Medical School, becoming the first skin laser specialist in South Africa. He subsequently became the first skin specialist (and medical practitioner) to develop an online cosmeceutical store in South Africa.
A desire to never stop learning and innovating, together with his love of a challenge, and his dedication to meeting his patients’ realistic expectations with both products and treatments, is of great importance to Dr Webster.
His belief in evidence-based medicine and products has helped him to build long-term relationships with his patients from all over South Africa and around the world. Nothing gives him greater satisfaction than maintaining these relationships, many of them spanning the number of years that he has been in practice.

Our Fulfilment Centre
Located in the heart of the Cape Winelands just outside of Stellenbosch, our new fulfillment centre offers a pleasing environment in a convienent location close to major freeways, Cape Town International Airport and delivery hubs. Every product on Dermastore is available at our reception store. Walk in, collect, browse, or seek expert advice – with free parking conveniently located right outside the front door. Our operation runs completey on renewable energy.

Testing hundreds of new products annually (most of which do not end up on Dermastore®), every product that is carefully chosen is thoroughly tested by our experienced team and is scrutinised for its safety and efficacy.

On top of being regularly trained by our product houses, Dr Webster spends every Friday with our customer success team keeping them up to date with the latest in Dermatology case studies and general skin health.
