Bioderma Cicabio SPF 50+ is a soothing skin barrier repair moisturiser with a high-factor sunscreen for damaged or irritated skin. Suitable for weakened skin exposed to the sun.

Key ingredients include UVA and UVB filters that limit UV penetration. Antalgicine™ which helps to reduce the feeling of discomfort and irritation and the urge to scratch. D.A.F is a patented complex that raises the skin’s tolerance threshold. Centella Asiatica accelerates skin healing and restores the integrity of the skin. The purifying combination of Copper Sulfate and Zinc Sulphate reduces the risk of bacterial proliferation. Non-comedogenic. Tested under dermatological control. Fragrance-free.

Dr Webster’s Recommendation: Bioderma Cicabio SPF 50+ is a repairing moisturiser and is a long-time favourite of mine, especially after treatments like chemical peels and micro-needling. It soothes the skin, reduces discomfort, and alleviates itching. With the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) higher in darker skin types, the addition of SPF 50+ is a great benefit.

Use: AM

  • Do not apply to open wounds. After cleansing and drying only apply to the affected areas.
  • Use once or twice daily until your skin is fully repaired. Consult a medical doctor if the skin oozes or becomes infected.
  • Do not apply to mucous membrane areas & avoid the eye contour area completely. For children under the age of 36 months, consult a healthcare professional.
  • This product contains a sunscreen but when your skin is exposed to the sun for prolonged periods, re-apply frequently.

    This is honestly one of the best sunscreens I have used. It is perfect for sensitive skin and is soothing, healing, moisturising with a smooth texture that leaves no white cast and helps reduce redness and irritation.
