Heliocare 360° Capsules

Heliocare 360° Capsules are recommended to complement topical photoprotection (sunscreen) during the months when the sun is at its highest intensity and longest solar exposure. These capsules are especially beneficial in helping to protect those who are at high risk of skin cancer, pigmentation and skin ageing. They should not be used in place of a high-factor, broad-spectrum sunscreen but to provide an extra layer of protection.

Key ingredients include Fernblock®+ is a potent antioxidant with photoprotection, DNA protection and repair and anti-ageing properties. Roxisomes and the added combination of Vitamin C & Vitamin E strengthens its photoprotective action. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3 helps to protect against environmental aggressors. Prebiotics combined with topical photoprotection, increase the skin’s resistance to the sun. Gluten-free. Vegan friendly.

Dr Webster’s Recommendation: Heliocare 360° Capsules in addition to the application of sunscreen, proper photoprotection consists of seeking shade, wearing photoprotective clothing and hat, and using sunglasses. UV filters have been well established to be effective against the adverse effects of ultraviolet radiation. With an increased understanding of the effect of visible light and infrared radiation, studies on antioxidants and oral and subcutaneous topical forms of photoprotection are ongoing.
