Heliocare Gelcream Color SPF 50 (Brown) is a high photo-immunoprotection broad spectrum gel cream sunscreen with a brown colour which is ideal for daily use and for giving the skin a radiant glow. It helps to prevent the formation of pigmentation and other signs of visible photo-ageing. Recommended for all skin types.

Key Ingredients include Fernblock® with powerful protective, antioxidant and restorative action. Its active ingredients act on all four types of radiation (UVB, UVA, Visible and IR). There is an optimal balance between mineral and non-mineral filters to ensure maximum tolerability and cosmetic compliance. Sunsphere Technology increases the effectiveness of the filters, permitting reduced quantities of filters and thus lowering the potential risk of sensitization and allergies and improving cosmetic characteristics. Non-comedogenic.

Dr Webster’s Recommendation: Heliocare Gelcream Color is a creamy gel sunblock formulation with a colour tint that has a great feel-good factor for the skin. Many people use it as a light-cover foundation as it provides both advanced UV protection together with skin tone enhancement and correction. It can also be used after aesthetic procedures to provide protection, to cover pigmentation and to lessen the effect of medication-induced photosensitivity. Please note the brown tint is a medium brown not dark. It is also available in Heliocare Gelcream Color SPF 50 Light.

  • Apply the gel cream to your face and/or neck in the morning after cleansing and moisturising.
  • Spread evenly and re-apply frequently especially after swimming or sweating.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes.
  • Excessive sun exposure can be harmful to your health. Avoid sun exposure during the hottest time of the day when UV radiation is at its highest.

    The customer service by Johani was excellent. She helped me find this perfect match for my medium brown skin. It seemed oily once applied, but I gave it a few minutes to set and my skin looked plump, supple and glowy! This will be a consistent purchase for me.

    This product is absolutely awful, it is so oily it feels as if you’ve rubbed olive oil all over your face. I also rate it a 1/10 for coverage as it doesn’t cover ANYTHING and gives you an orange tinge. It is so oily that it runs during the day and gets into your eyes, which is extremely painful!
    Unless you have extremely dry skin and want 0% coverage then I wouldn’t recommend this.
    The other products in the Heliocare range are far superior and I’m sad I didn’t spend my money on the usual gel spf50+ that I usually use.

    Absolutely cannot exist without this product. Yes it definitely leaves u glowing I don’t need to use any makeup with it. A must have. Very nice for Indian skin.

    Absolutely in love with this product. I’ve tried various sunblocks from the heliocare range including the fluid, mineral, aero gel and more! But this specific one is honestly the best for my medium toned, dry and textured, Indian skin. It will leave you glowing with a dewy and flawless look. It covers tiny imperfections really well and it is honestly perfect for using as a primer before your foundation. Couldn’t emphasise anymore how amazing this sunblock is.

    I just love this product!! Amazing coverage for a sunscreen!! I have Melasma and I apply this only over my face for a 95% coverage. Smells very nice too!! Applies easy, makes my skin look radiant and feeling youthful. Will recommend it to everyone!!
