Dry, Psoriasis-Prone Scalp

ISDIN Psorisdin Control Shampoo is ideal for patients suffering from severely dry, itchy scalp or scalp conditions associated with Seborrhoeic Dermatitis and Psoriasis.

Key ingredients include 5% Urea that softens and removes dead skin cells. 3% Salicylic Acid has anti-scaling and exfoliating properties. Sodium Shale Oil Sulfonate is anti-bacterial that controls the proliferation of bacteria and prevents itching of the scalp.

Dr Webster’s Recommendation: ISDIN Psorisdin Control Shampoo has all the right ingredients for controlling Seborrhoeic Dermatitis and scalp Psoriasis in a safe manner. It is a very pleasant formulation to use and it leaves the scalp feeling fresh and clean. It may be used on its own or in conjunction with prescribed medication such as topical corticosteroids and/or Vitamin D analogues.

Use: AM or PM, alternate days

  • Apply the product to damp hair and massage until foam is obtained.
  • Leave to act for a few minutes. Rinse with plenty of water.
  • Use on alternate days.

    I have been delighted with this product. It’s been more effective than anything else I have used. Not only is the itch almost gone, my hair has stopped falling out. It must be used every second day. It doesn’t smell wonderful, but better than any other products I’ve used.

    I was very excited to try this product. As someone with Seborrheic dermatitis, it is a struggle finding shampoo that works for me. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the super-product I had hoped it would be. It is fine, but it didn’t make an enormous difference to my itchy scalp and the scent is a little off-putting.
