Description

Obagi Nu-Derm Exfoderm is a gentle lightweight exfoliating lotion that helps to remove dull, dead skin cells from the top layer of the skin. It promotes new skin cells for a brighter complexion and helps to reduce dark marks. Suitable for dry to sensitive skins with dark marks and sun damage.

Key ingredients include Phytic Acid, which is derived from rice bran and aids keratolytic and exfoliating activity to speed up cell turnover. Exfoliating the surface of skin cells brightens and smooths skin roughness to aid the penetration of other products. Glycerin is a humectant that attracts moisture to your skin. This product does not contain Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA). Fragrance-free.

Dr Webster’s Recommendation: Obagi Nu-Derm Exfoderm gently exfoliates the stratum corneum without the normal irritation associated with alpha-hydroxy acids making it ideal for people with dry, sensitive skin. It also helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, giving the skin a more youthful appearance. For the best results, you should use together with the Clear Fx and Blend Fx. Always use a high-factor, broad-spectrum sunscreen every day and this is especially important if you have pigmentation. Caution: There may be some temporary flaking of the skin when you first start using this product.

How to Use

Apply a pea sized amount of lotion to the face in the morning after cleansing.
If using the Obagi Clear Fx it can be mixed together with the Exforderm and applied to the skin as a cocktail.
If you prefer to layer your products, apply the Obagi Clear Fx first and allow it to absorb before applying the Exfoderm lotion.
First time users should always introduce this product slowly until the skin is tolerant. If any irritation occurs use less often and build up tolerance.
Caution: After a week of using the Nu-Derm regimen there will be some lifting of the deep dark pigment and your skin will be darker in the affected areas but this will reduce within a week or two as the treatment takes effect.
This product does not contain a sunscreen - you will need to apply one every morning over this lotion.
If you have chronic pigmentation that does not respond to this product, please consult your Dermatologist.
