Obagi Nu-Derm Exfoderm Forte is a lightweight day lotion which exfoliates the top layer of the skin removing dull, old skin cells while promoting new skin cells for a brighter complexion and more youthful-looking skin. Best suited normal, combination, sun-damaged skins which are thicker or oily sebaceous skins. Not for sensitive or red, rosacea-prone skin.

Key ingredients include Glycolic (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) and Lactic Acid remove dead skin and promote new cell growth, helping to reduce hyperpigmentation and to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Glycerin provides hydration to prevent peeling while Kalaya Oil calms inflammation to alleviate redness.

Dr Webster’s Recommendation: Obagi Nu-Derm Exfoderm Forte ensures daily exfoliation to speed up cell turnover ensuring the newer healthier cells reach the surface quicker – this will cause flaking for the first 10-14 days and this is a normal transition phase when you first use this product. It also helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, giving the skin a more youthful appearance. For the best results, you should use together with the Clear Fx and Blend Fx. Always use a high-factor, broad-spectrum sunscreen every day and this is especially important if you have pigmentation. Caution:  After a week of using the Nu-Derm regimen there will be some lifting of the deep brown pigment and your skin may be darker in the affected areas but this will reduce within a week or two as the treatment takes effect.
