Obagi Professional-C Serum 20%

The best vitamin C serum I have ever used. I don’t know if it should be THIS expensive but it definitely stands apart from the more budget friendly alternatives by miles. I struggle with skin that has lost its firmness and this has made me look younger again; my skin is lifted and SNATCHED! This has really boosted my confidence when I was starting to feel like I am beginning to look older than my actual age (sun damage).

As other reviewers have mentioned, it takes around two weeks before you really start to see it working. I love that it is formulated to not sting and be gentle because my skin does not react when I use it most of the time. Just because there’s no sting does not mean it’s not working. Other things that stand out about this is that it doesn’t stain orange like other vitamin C products I have used in the past, and it genuinely lightens dark spots. I had always heard that vitamin C lightens dark spots but this is the first one I’ve used where I actually see significant improvements with my dark spots.

A minor drawback is the fragrance, a hairspray orange-like scent. It’s not the best and doesn’t do much to hide the actual smell of the vitamin C. However, it’s not overpowering and quickly disappears after application. Besides that, another exceptional, high-performing product from Obagi.

I have very oily skin and I have struggled to find a Vit C that works with my skin (most products just increase the oil production). This works wonders with my skin!

I have been using this product for a few months now and it is my absolute favourite product on your site. The difference it made to my skin got me hooked on skin care! Love it.

Tried this product but it takes time to actually work… my skin was smoother but not sure if it really helped with anything else

I’ve been using this product for two weeks, and today I can say that I’ve noticed an improvement in my skin texture and tone. My skin looks radiant! I use this after cleansing in the morning, and use the Skinceuticals B5 hydrator after cleansing in the evening. I also incorporate a weekly use of Skinceuticals Rentinol 0.5 night cream, and must say these products are a powerful combination for healthy and radiant skin.
