Lamelle Correctives Recharge CE is a high-potency Vitamin C cream that offers concentrated antioxidant skin protection. Suitable for early or mature skins with signs of photo-ageing and who have a good tolerance for L-Ascorbic Acid.

Key ingredients include pure L-Ascorbic Acid has been shown to provide the skin with advanced protection from free-radical damage brought on by environmental aggressors and stimulates collagen production thereby improving the appearance of skin texture and fullness. Alpha-Tocopherol (Vitamin E) is a proven antioxidant that helps strengthen the skin barrier in maintaining the lipid balance and protecting the skin from transepidermal water loss. This formula is suspended in an anhydrous (water-free) base. Fragrance-free.

Dr. Webster’s Recommendation: Lamelle Correctives Recharge CE will help boost fibroblast activity thereby increasing collagen production, and softening lines and wrinkles while improving skin texture. It will also provide antioxidant protection. This product does contain a high percentage of Vitamin C which might induce a temporary stinging sensation. If you have not used pure L-Ascorbic acid before, at a high concentration, we’d recommend spacing out a few days between applications allowing the skin to climatize to the product. Tolerance should improve if introduced slowly. We strongly advise using a high-factor broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day when making use of the product.

  • After cleansing and drying the skin, apply a small drop of the product onto fingertips.
  • Massage lightly to spread the cream and allow it to be absorbed.
  • Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day to protect your skin.
  • Special precautions: The product might tingle a little more than the previous version of Recharge CE Concentrate on application – the tingle, however, dissipates quickly. Start at the lowest concentration to assess tolerability first Do not use for 3–5 days after resurfacing treatments Do not use products containing ascorbic acid and retinoic acid in the same application.

    I love this product. I could see visible differences in my skin after less than 2 weeks. Really great for layering with moisturizers. I don’t find the product gritty at all. Layering this over a toner helps the product to absorb easily. The texture is smooth and goes on very easily. It is however important to give the tube a shake before using it to ensure that it is blended. I am also very impressed with how little you actually have to use, a little really goes a long way. Looking forward to move on to the upgrade of this product that Lamelle offers.

    I was very concerned when reading other reviews about the texture, but I must say, I don’t find the grittiness or silicone problematic at all! I have drier skin, so this sinks in very fast. I have also noticed how my skin looked a bit more “alive” after a week of use. I prefer to use this serum at night, as it might be a bit too “slippy” underneath sunscreen and makeup, and as vitamin C may make your skin more sensitive to sun, but I love this so far!

    Really disappointed in this product. It is extremely gritty (more than any other Vit C I’ve used) and my moisturiser and foundation pile-up over it, no matter what method of application I use!

    I love this product. I use it under a moisturiser. Vit C products are always a bit gritty, but this one does not interfere with my foundation. I have oily skin and I believe this has actually helped reduce my oil breakout during the day. I would definitely repurchase this.
