Yes, we’ll have a waiting room again this year to help alleviate site congestion. The website will not be accessible from 23:30 on 29/11 as we prepare for midnight go-live. Customers will automatically be placed into a queue from midnight and should not have to wait long to gain access to the store. The waiting room will run as long as it’s needed throughout the day.
Be patient. The site may experience a downgrade in performance due to overloading. However, pages should eventually load if you give it some time.
If you are struggling with your payment method and are getting a failed transaction response, keep trying or try a different payment method.
If this site does go down and you receive a server error, we’ll hopefully be able to reboot and get back online as soon as possible again.

If you accidentally forget to add an item to your order, you will need to place a new order and pay the relevant shipping fee (if the order is less than R750). You will also need to spend more than R2500 to obtain the discount on the new order.
Alternatively, you can request to cancel the first order as soon as possible, requesting a refund. You can then place a new order with your correct items, allowing 7-10 working days for the original order to be refunded.
You are welcome to return any unwanted goods (unopened and in their original packaging) within 5 working days of receiving them to our physical address and at your own expense. Once our team has assessed that the products are in good order, we will issue a store credit to the value of the goods paid for on the day of purchase. Please allow 10 working days for processing once the items have been received back by Dermastore®.

Yes. All gift vouchers or store credits are redeemable on orders with BF codes. You cannot however purchase a gift voucher using a Black Friday code.

Expect a delay in deliveries. This is the busiest time of the year for our courier company. Please expect a longer delivery window (i.e. not the usual 1-2 days, but rather allow for 2-8 working days in some instances). Black Friday orders will be dispatched from Saturday 25th November onwards. We’ll do our best to ship orders as soon as possible, but it could take up to 5 working days for your order to be dispatched as we work through the backlog.
Local (Stellenbosch & surrounds)
Local deliveries will be sent via our courier company and not via our Dermastore driver. Delivery times may take longer than our normal same or next day service.
Collections (Stellenbosch)
Recipients will be notified via email when their BF order is ready for collection. Kindly do not attempt to collect before you have been notified, as your order may not be ready. We’ll endeavour to have all Black Friday collections ready on or after Wednesday, 29th November.
You will be refunded or provided with a store credit if the item cannot be fulfilled.
We will only accept EFT proof of payments where the proof has been sent directly from the bank in a PDF format. If we don’t receive proof of payment in this manner then all stock remains unreserved until we receive the funds into our account (2-4 working days, depending on who you bank with).
We encourage you to use OZOW (instant EFT), a credit card, or SnapScan to avoid a situation where we may not receive a proof of payment and unreserved stock then gets sold.
Use of the Black Friday Promotional Code
Promotional items already marked down or on sale (including value sets or seasonal bundled offers) do not qualify for use of the Black Friday discount code.
A minimum pre-discount basket value of R2,500 is required in order to qualify for use of the Black Friday code.
Only one promotional code can be used per order.
Free Gifts
Free gifts are strictly available whilst stocks last. Free gifts cannot be exchanged, amended, or extended.
Should any planned-for Black Friday gift(s) run out, Dermastore® may or may not at its sole discretion (and without later dispute), substitute any gift(s) to any value of its choosing.
Incorrect Use of Codes
Dermastore® will not be held liable for the omission or incorrect use of promotional codes. Paid-for orders can be cancelled and resubmitted in this regard, requesting a refund for the first order (and allowing 7-10 working days for a refund to process).
DermaPoints
Redemption of DermaPoints is excluded from the Black Friday sale event duration completely. If you wish to use your points, kindly place your order once the sale event is over. Customers will still earn points on their purchases on November 29th, 2024.
Sampling & Personalised Instructions
We will not be supplying individualised sampling from November 29th – December 4th. We will not be printing individualised product usage instructions – please refer to the product packaging/leaflet or simply visit the product page on Dermastore® and look under HOW TO USE for detailed usage instructions.
Exchanges / Returns
Unwanted items that have already been delivered (where the promotional code was used) cannot be exchanged or refunded. You are welcome to return any unwanted goods (unopened and in their original packaging) within 5 working days of receiving them to our physical address and at your own expense. Once our team has assessed the products and are satisfied that they are in good order, we will issue a store credit for the same value as paid for the product/s on Black Friday. Please allow 10 working days for processing once the items have been received back to Dermastore®.
For product faults, a product replacement or store credit will be issued pending an individual assessment – please allow 5-10 working days for processing in this regard.

Queries Relating to Payments
We encourage Card, Apple Pay. SnapScan, or OZOW (Instant EFT payment) as the preferred methods of payment.

Dermastore® will not be held accountable to fulfil items that go out of stock between the time of ordering and time of payment received into our account and a store credit or refund will be processed in this regard. Take note that transfer times do vary between banks (up to 2-4 working days).
Refunds
If you have requested a refund for an order, or if your card or other payment method has been billed more than once due to a technical error, please allow 5-10 working days for a refund. We are a reputable company and will never allow overpayment to go unreturned for any length of time.
Queries Relating to Orders
We are not supporting amendments to orders placed on Black Friday, 29th of November. This means if you place an order incorrectly, it will get shipped as-is. Please do your planning thoroughly in this regard. We cannot add additional products to already processing orders. You will need to create a new order (and pay for any additional shipping fees) for forgotten items. The alternative would be to request to cancel the first order and to submit a new order allowing 7-10 working days for the original order to be refunded.
For incorrectly specified delivery addresses, if we receive a notice before the order has been shipped, we can likely amend it, otherwise, these will be amended after the order has been shipped. Please note, there will be additional delays in the delivery of orders relating to incorrectly specified addresses (regardless of when we are notified), so ensure your address details are correctly captured on your order.
Backorders
We generally do not allow for backorders during our Black Friday sales event, however, should an item go onto backorder, you’ll be notified in the cart or via personal correspondence. This means your order will not ship in its entirety until all items within the order can be fulfilled. Please allow for additional delays in this regard (as your order may only ship 5-6 working days from the date of ordering).
Phone Lines & Our Physical Store in Stellenbosch
Neither our physical store nor our phone lines will be operational from Thursday, November 28th through to December 4th. We will notify you when your order is ready for collection at the specified address. Collections will only be made available from Wednesday, December 4th, no collections will be allowed before this time.
Pay-on-collection orders will not be supported during the Black Friday sales event (all payments are required to be paid in full, and upfront).
