Purchase a 20-minute consultation with one of our skin therapists. Once your order is confirmed, you’ll be prompted to book a time slot.

Have Your Consult

Ensure your face is makeup-free and that your camera and microphone are working before the session begins.

Receive Recommendations

Your therapist will email you a list of product recommendations within 24 working hours of your session.

What does the skin consultation cover?

During your 20-minute consultation, a professional skin therapist will assess your skin concerns and goals, taking into account lifestyle factors, your current routine and budget. After the session, they will email you tailored product recommendations, which you can choose to purchase or not.

The consultation fee is R300 per 20-minute session.

To get started, register your profile on Dermastore® and complete the skin assessment. If you are already a member, kindly login. 

Once registered, visit the ‘Video Consultations’ page and select your preferred therapist. Add the consultation to your cart, proceed to checkout, and complete your payment. On the order confirmation screen, you’ll be prompted to book a time slot in your chosen therapist’s calendar.

Once confirmed, you’ll receive occasional email reminders leading up to your appointment, including a Google Meet link to join the video call.

The R300 consultation fee will be issued as a voucher, redeemable against any purchase of R2,000 or more on Dermastore®.

Please ensure you have a stable internet connection, a quiet space, and a device with a working camera.

We also recommend wearing no makeup, if possible, and having a list of your current skincare products on hand.

If you choose not to make a purchase after your consultation, the R300 consultation fee is non-refundable. The voucher is also non-transferable.

If you can’t attend your scheduled consultation, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can reschedule your session. If you miss your consultation without prior notice, your voucher will still be valid for a purchase but remains non-refundable.

Each consultation lasts 20 minutes.

Our skin therapists provide personalised product recommendations based on your skin’s needs, but we do not offer medical diagnoses or treatments for skin conditions. If you have a severe or medical skin concern, we recommend consulting a Dermatologist.

Your skin therapist will email you a list of recommendations within 24 hours of your consultation.

You are welcome to contact us via live chat, email, or phone at any time. If your chosen therapist is not immediately available, you may need to wait for their response.

If you feel you need more time or a follow-up video consultation, you are welcome to book another session at your convenience.

To make the most of the limited time, we ask that you focus the session on your own skin concerns. For family-related questions, please consider booking a separate consultation.
