Bentonite clay’s colour and properties depend on its mineral content. White has boron and fluoride, yellow contains manganese and zinc, green is rich in copper, zinc, and manganese, and pink clay is boron-rich. Bentonite is a superb absorbent, soaking up sebum and dead skin cells for a smooth, matte finish. Beyond that, it’s known for its antimicrobial properties, potentially calming skin infections and allergies, and assisting with skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema. However, overuse can lead to skin dryness, so moderation and moisturising are key.
