Melasyl™ (INCI: 2-Mercaptonicotinoyl Glycine) is a multi-patented molecule developed by L’Oréal research that helps prevent all forms of hyperpigmentation. Offering a unique mode of action, Melasyl™ intercepts melanin intermediate precursors allowing it to act early in the mechanism of melanin synthesis, avoiding its overproduction, and thus reducing the appearance of pigmentary disorders.
