Squalane

Squalane is a natural lipid found in human sebum which means that it’s an important skin-identical ingredient and NMF (natural moisturising factor). As we age Squalane’s natural levels begin to deplete so supplementing this natural lipid contained within moisturisers or serums (plant-derived, usually from olives), provides skin with a smoother, softer and more hydrated appearance. Squalane is stable against heat and oxidation and has no odour.
