Specialised sunscreens can be used by those who have previously had or who are at a high risk of skin cancer. They generally have a high sun protection factor (50-100), covering UVB / UVA / Visible Light / Infrared. They should also contain DNA-repair enzymes as well as antioxidants. Research has found that the daily use of a good quality sunscreen can cut the incidence of malignant melanoma up to 50%.
