Fantastic Vit C serum! The CE Ferulic broke me out but the Silymarin CF is amazing! Doesnt leave a sticky, oily residue can be used for oilier skins. I received so many compliments on how my skin is glowing since using this product! Its a bit pricey but the bottle lasts me 3 4 months.

I just received a compliment on how flawless my foundation is today, and how airbrushed my skin looks – I’m not wearing anything other than a light tinted SPF! Point of me saying this- I definitely feel that introducing my skin to this product has changed the game. I haven’t used other competing brands (This is my first introduction to vit c serum), so I can’t comment on the hefty difference in price, but if you apply this with a LOT of control and strategy, you can get quite a bit of use out of it. My skin did purge when first introducing it, but the actual difference in my skin texture didn’t take long to grace its presence :). For reference- I have super oily skin that is prone to breakouts, and this is not oily at all, it makes the skin a little tacky for a minute or two before it dries completely.

I’ve been using this product for about 6 weeks now, my breakouts have disappeared and my skin looks more even.(But keep in mind your skin may purge for a week or so)

This product was recommended to me by Tori from Kiss Blush & Tell in a skin analysis. I was a bit hesitant to buy at first as it is quite pricey, but it has changed my life. I have hormonal acne prone skin and since I have started using Silymarin in the mornings, I have gotten numerous compliments on how good my skin looks. It gives me a healthy glow, and my breakouts are noticeably less. This product didn’t show results for 3 weeks, but have been such a winner after! I can highly recommend to anyone with acne prone skin (even hormonal acne!)

I have waited a few weeks to review this product because I wanted to make sure the review was accurate, given the price of the serum. To be honest, I didn’t expect to be this impressed. This product has really cleared up my skin (which is typically acne-prone, especially during stressful times and of course during my cycle). It has also really refined and minimized my pores. Overall, my skin is clearer, smoother and glowing. In the first two weeks of use I experienced some skin purging, as impurities came to the surface. So don’t start using this if you have any major events coming up, your skin may get worse for a while before it gets better. But it’s worth it. My skin has been pretty much perfect since then. This serum is advertised as the equivalent of the popular CE Ferulic but for more oily/acne-prone skin. I must say, I am totally sold. I’ve been using it in combination with the Age + Blemish Defense serum (Silymarin in the mornings and Age + Blemish at night). It’s a winning combination.
