Salicylic Acid

Salicylic Acid is a Beta-Hydroxy Acid extracted from the bark of willow trees. It effectively penetrates into the pores of the skin and with its keratolytic (peeling) action, it exfoliates the skin, and refines and shrinks pores. It is often the key ingredient in topical acne products, and reduces acne when used in the correct concentration. It is one of the best ingredients to treat blackheads and whiteheads.
